Charlie worked at the marina as a young man when it was owned by and named Pops. He & Juanita eventually bought and renamed the marina in 1983. Over the years, they built their legacy together until she passed in 2022. "Juanita's Garden" was created to honor her love for this magical place and it's people. You can find her favorite wrought iron furniture throughout the grounds.
She was a force of nature that we miss dearly!

Led by Captainette Kate Jorissen on "Misfits", Teri Hasty, Sarah Merten, and Amanda Lewandowski have gone from novices to champions in only 3 years!
Captain Brad Jorissen and First Mate Doug Coke helped to land Charlie's Anglers in 1st place during the 22nd Annual Ladies Classic Derby held by the Pentwater Sportfishing Association in 2024.
They did it again... landing in 3rd place during the 23rd Annual Ladies Classic Derby in 2025.
And again... in the 24th Annual Ladies Classic Biggest King Salmon in 2026.
Charlie couldn't be more proud of his "Anglers!"
